Their Story

ITCA found us. The CEO of ITCA called and I spoke with him several times and liked him. He seemed like a very reasonable person to do business with and we had been struggling with piracy since 2003, only one year after our first product was launched. It was a very painful experience to see our product cracked and offered for free on the internet. We discovered how widespread the piracy problem had become. Once I spoke with the CEO, I was very pleased to learn that there was a way to deal with this issue.
 

The Competition

We have been approached by other vendors but they didn’t provide a complete service like ITCA and they did not have the credibility or track record of ITCA.
As such, I’ve referred ITCA to 2 or 3 other companies and will certainly refer more. I strongly believe that this problem is global and affects all software companies that want to grow and have a strong impact in their respective markets.
 

Experience & Solutions

The ITCA staff are domain experts in the software piracy and compliance arena. We draw on that expertise frequently, especially on the legal and collection aspects. I like the way ITCA deals with prospects, treating them in a professional manner and giving them the opportunity to buy a legal license of TransMagic, giving us the opportunity to service a good customer in the future.
Besides the revenue increases and new customers, ITCA has opened new markets; creating new customers in India and southern Europe, where we previously had very few customers. 
 

Working as a Team

 As a business partner and advisor, ITCA is a key part of our sales channel and compliance arm. [Our relationship with ITCA is] a very collaborative working relationship. We work together on every lead to determine what makes sense on a case-by-case basis. ITCA is helpful in dealing with the many relationships that TransMagic has with resellers and other individuals.

 

 

Results

ITCA said they could generate incremental sales revenue and create opportunities from companies that were using illegal licenses of our software, and they have delivered. ITCA has helped TransMagic generate new business and expanded our install base of legal customers. We never knew what to do about software piracy before we met ITCA, now they have given us a mechanism to deal with that.
We are focused on working with ITCA to find new opportunities. We don’t have the means to find leads on infringing companies without ITCA. We expect to continue gaining new customers and increasing revenue using ITCA’s services in order to assist in growing the company by using the incremental revenue to develop new leading edge products and enhance the functionality of existing products. 
 

Commendation

ITCA is organized, reasonable and efficient. Everything moves quickly. The data and reports are always there waiting, giving us the opportunity to assess what’s going on. The ITCA team includes many sharp individuals with good business acumen. They are very professional and have a very structured approach to their business. ITCA’s team is always proactively working on our behalf.
We are continuing to expand our program with ITCA, and we anticipate growing revenues.
